From the start-line multiple shunt which necessitated a restart, to the final lap, the world's best drivers found it hard to emulate the polished performance of Nelson Piquet as he blasted his Brabham-BMW to another superb win. Many tried but fell victim to minute errors of judgement. One who avoided the problems and brought his non-turbo Tyrrell right up to second place by the finish, was Martin Brundle whose aggressive driving is impressive - a real ‘must-see’.
