Colin Murray introduces the best of the action from the day's four Premier League matches, including the crunch clash between Arsenal and Manchester United. The animosity between the clubs may have cooled in recent seasons, but the competitive fire still burns for rival managers Sir Alex Ferguson and Arsene Wenger. Their head-to-head record is identical, but it is Ferguson who has emerged the victor in the last three meetings. Arsenal desperately need a reversal of fortune as they seek a first trophy since 2005. The title may be beyond Manchester City, but they were looking to bolster their Champions League aspirations at the expense of relegation-threatened West Ham. Elsewhere, Birmingham met fierce rivals Wolves in a battle at the bottom, and Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish welcomed his former club Newcastle to Anfield.
