He says it's his destiny to win the title, but not like this. But he does want Edge to come out and give him the belt anyway. Instead, Teddy Long comes out and tells Del Rio that won't happen. Instead, there will be a Battle Royal to determine his opponent at Extreme Rules. Del Rio then gloats about hurting Edge. Match #1: Ezekiel Jackson vs Kofi Kingston. Barrett, Slater & Gabriel were on commentary. Jackson pins Kingston. Dear God, the stupidity really begins: Layla & Michelle are in couples therapy. Darth Cody talks about beating Rey Mysterio and how he feels nothing. Crybaby Mysterio comes down to attack. KONG! KONG! KONG! (Yeah, I know that won't be her name when she gets here, but we all know who she is.) Match #2: Rey Mysterio vs Drew McIntyre. Mysterio pins McIntyre. Edge comes to the ring for his farewell and to leave the World Heavyweight Championship behind. Sigh, Randy Orton has a movie now. Edge's goodbye walk continues.
