This is a 75 minute documentary which looks at the making of series 4 of Red Dwarf. The documentary is split up into 7 chapters, an introduction and then a chapter for each of the six episodes in this series. The documentary includes interviews with actors Chris Barrie, Craig Charles, Danny John-Jules, Robert Llewellyn and Hattie Hayridge as well as producer and director Ed Bye, makeup artist Andrea Finch, costume designer Howard Burden and visual effects supervisor Peter Wragg. The documentary considers the move to Shepparton film studios, the pros and cons of being able to rehearse on set, new makeup for Kryten and the different costumes and prosthetics used in the series. There are also a number of interesting bits of trivia about the production.
