Terrence Howard joins Law & Order Los Angeles

A little over a month after I suggested Dick Wolf recruit Terrence Howard for Law & Order: Los Angeles, the Oscar nominee has been cast in the spinoff.

Here’s where the sorta part comes in…I actually recommended him for the role of lead detective Rex Winters (which went to Skeet Ulrich). The part he’ll be playing, however, is that of Deputy D.A.—a position he’ll split with Alfred Molina.

Corey Stoll (Salt) rounds out the LOLA cast as Ulrich’s partner.

Are you thinking what I’m thinking? ‘Cause I’m thinking it might be time to hire, oh, you know, a female. Just putting that out there.

In other L&O brand news, Wolf confirmed at press tour this morning that attempts to relocate the mothership to another network have failed. In other words, it’s definitely dead.
