In een tijd van oorlogen in Irak en Afghanistan en extremistische bewegingen is de bescherming van politici en gemeenschapsleiders van wezenlijk belang. In The Protectors volgen we speciaal opgeleide politiemensen die hoogstaande figuren begeleiden en beschermen. Jasmina, Rasmus en Jonas zijn drie bevriende collega's. Hun werk vereist opperste concentratie en de gave om in noodsituaties snel te handelen. Met gevaar voor eigen leven. Wat soms moeilijk te combineren is met de persoonlijke drama's van 'The Protectors' zelf.
