Take Two is een Amerikaanse detectiveserie over een actrice die detective wordt. De serie Take Two gaat over voormalig televisiester Sam Swift (gespeeld door Rachel Bilson). Ze probeert haar leven weer op de rit te krijgen nadat zij zestig dagen in een afkickkliniek heeft gezeten. Swift komt in de kliniek terecht nadat de politieserie waarin ze speelt wordt gecanceld en ze op de rode lopen wordt gedumpt door haar verloofde. Ze probeert haar carrière weer op te bouwen na haar herstel. Swift ontmoet privédetective Eddie Valetik (Eddie Cibrian). Samen blijken ze een onwaarschijnlijk goed duo in het oplossen van criminele zaken, dankij haar ervaringen als fictieve politieagente in de serie.
